Hello! My name is Michaëlle, better known as Caribbean Nightingale. Growing up in Haiti, I learned to cook at the tender age of 8 - in both my mother's and my paternal grandmother's kitchens. This to me was a main social event infused with joyous storytelling as my matriarchs welcomed me in taking part in a labor of love. Soon as a teen, I also discovered my passion for the word, specifically poetry. Driven by my love of community and sense of adventure, I find myself creating spaces where others can experience the essence of Caribbean cooking in addition to the healing powers of poetry...
